Die Dupuytren\u2018sche Krankheit ist durch eine langsame, fortschreitende Verdickung und Verkr\u00fcmmung des Bindegewebes der Handinnenfl\u00e4che (Palmaraponeurose) gekennzeichnet. Dies kann zu einer Verkr\u00fcmmung der betroffenen Finger f\u00fchren und somit die Streckf\u00e4higkeit der Hand beeintr\u00e4chtigen.<\/p>\n

Die Ursachen dieser Krankheit, welche sich durch eine Fibrose der Palmarfaszie manifestiert und einen fortschreitenden Verschluss der Hand verursacht, sind bis heute ungekl\u00e4rt. Der Verlauf ist in der Regel schmerzlos. <\/strong>Die Erkrankung kann an beiden H\u00e4nden auftreten, obgleich normalerweise nur eine Hand betroffen ist. Sie tritt h\u00e4ufiger bei M\u00e4nnern ab dem 50. Lebensjahr sowie bei Diabetes- und Leberzirrhose-Patienten auf.<\/p>\n

Bei der Untersuchung wird nach knotigen Verdickungen in der Handinnenfl\u00e4che exploriert – unter dem 4. Mittelhandknochen und zunehmend unter dem 4. und 3. Mittelhandknochen.<\/p>\n

Eine konservative, nicht-aggressive Therapie ist in der Regel wenig wirksam, und auch der R\u00fcckgriff auf eine Operation l\u00f6st das Problem oft nicht vollst\u00e4ndig.<\/p>\n
