Health insurance for different ages

July 9, 2026Insurance

Health is one of the most important aspects of life, which is why protecting it is essential. In addition to maintaining good habits, such as doing sport or following a balanced diet, having a health insurance policy is key to safeguarding future well‑being and facing everyday life with greater peace of mind.

It is a highly valuable complement for the different stages of life. While in youth it is useful for prevention and long‑term financial savings, at more advanced ages it becomes even more important due to the cover provided, the personalised attention, the direct access to specialists and the continuous medical care when it is needed most.

At ASSSA we adapt to the needs of each stage of life. For this reason, we offer different types of policies designed to provide the peace of mind and level of care that each person requires at any given moment.

Health insurance when you are young: prevention and savings

When you are young, there is a lower likelihood of developing illnesses. For this reason, it is an excellent moment to focus on prevention and avoid exclusions, ensuring that you are covered for any potential medical issues in the future. It is a smart long‑term decision.

For those who are in their studies, we offer a health insurance policy for international students, adapted to a more dynamic lifestyle, with online enrolment and streamlined administrative processes.

Health insurance in later life: peace of mind and security

As age advances, medical needs usually increase. For this reason, and to ensure that Policyholders can access the medical services included in their policy without additional costs, our insurance policies have no co‑payments. We also offer a high maximum age for taking out a policy, up to 79 years.

Alongside this, we offer personalised multilingual assistance and a wide Medical Directory with prestigious professionals and centres, ensuring healthcare without long waiting lists. In addition, for expatriates, we provide insurance policies valid for Visa and Residency purposes, with first‑class cover and no language barriers.

At ASSSA we work to ensure that both younger and older people have access to healthcare that is close at hand, comprehensive and of high quality, protecting them in both the short and long term. We place people at the centre and continuously improve our service so that we can keep providing the trust, protection and care that our Policyholders need in their daily lives.
