How to fight overweight?

Medicine is using BMI (body-mass index) measurement to dtermine overweight. BMI is calculated using your weight in kilos and your height in metres: Weight (kilos)/(Height (metres) x Height (metres)). 

 

 

However, researches at The University of Michigan have compared weight and cardiovascualr risk factores ina group of 5400 adults. They discovered that around half of overweight people, and one-third of obese people, were “metabolically healthy”. Their levels of the “good” colesterol, their blood pressupre and their blood glucose levels were all in the healthy range.

 

In fact the study showed taht it is better to be overweight and healthy than Slim and unhealthy. So, being at normal weight or underweight is not, os its own, the best Passport to long term health.

REGLAMENTO PARA LA DEFENSA DEL ASEGURADO DE ASSSA

Este reglamento tiene por objeto regular el funcionamiento del Servicio de Atención al Cliente y del Defensor del Asegurado de ASSSA, así como las relaciones entre ambos. Se rige por la Ley 44/2002 de 22 de noviembre, de Medidas de Reforma del Sistema Financiero y por la Orden ECO 734/2004, de 11 de marzo, sobre los departamentos y servicios de atención al cliente de las entidades financieras.
