How to survive a heart attack if you are alone

Imagine you are home alone one day and, because of work or personal issues, you’re feeling quite stressed, tired, upset, etc. Suddenly you feel a Sharp pain in your chest that spreads towards our arm and jaw. You notice your heart is not beating correctly and you start feeling faint. You notice your heart is not beating correctly and you start feeling faint. You’ve got 10 seconds before you lose consciousness. You’re a long way from a hospital and you don’t what to do.

 

What should you do?

First of all, don’t panic! Start coughing repeatedly an hard. Take a Deep breath before each a cough. A cough should be Deep and long, as though you were trying to cough up phlegm from the bottom of your chest.
Breath in then cough every two seconds without stopping until you can find help our heart starts beating normally again.

Deep breathing takes oxygen to the lung and the coughing compresses the heart and maintains blood flor. Pressure on the heart also helps to restore its normal rate. This can give heart attack victims a chance to get to the hospital.

Se rige por la Ley 44/2002 de 22 de noviembre, de Medidas de Reforma del Sistema Financiero y por la Orden ECO 734/2004, de 11 de marzo, sobre los departamentos y servicios de atención al cliente de las entidades financieras.
