In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the ASSSA Enric Valor Club, the 30th Anniversary Chess Festival will be held from 12 to 14 June. We are sponsoring this event, during which participants will have the chance to showcase their skills.
The tournaments will take place at the premises of the Nazaret School in Alicante, and will consist of IRT A (SUB2400), IRT B (SUB1800) and Blitz tournaments. In addition, over €5,000 in prize money, as well as additional gifts, will be distributed amongst the winners of the categories.
Over the years, the Club has proven itself to be a leading force in this sport, achieving numerous accolades and successes. In recent months, they have been crowned champions in the women’s category of the Regional Final of the JOCS, and champions in the Regional Age Group Final, the Regional Open Championship, and the Federation Cup. Congratulations to all the players!
