The brain is one of the vital organs of our body, controlling cognitive activities and reactions of the organism. On World Brain Day, celebrated on 22 July, we are joining efforts in raising awareness by disseminating different guidelines for the prevention of possible diseases.
Some strategies include taking care of your diet, have a good quality of sleep (sleep between 7-9 hours), manage stress with activities such as yoga or meditation, engage in cognitive activities, avoid harmful habits (alcohol and tobacco) and take care of social relationships.
In ASSSA, we recognize the importance of this and include different mental exercises such as sudoku, word searches and chess boards in our ASSSA Magazine, with the aim of protecting people’s health.
