People are increasingly committed to social welfare and environmental protection. Climate change, biodiversity loss, inequality and unhealthy lifestyles are pressing issues in today’s world. As a result, social and environmental responsibility are values that have gained relevance today.
In this context, companies have developed strategies to mitigate their impact on the environment and improve people’s quality of life, implementing various actions with positive impacts. All these issues are covered in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Plans.
CSR is therefore a voluntary initiative that involves all internal and external business activities focused on protecting the environment and benefiting society as a whole, actively collaborating in social, economic and environmental improvement.
ASSSA is strongly committed to well-being, which stems from our commitment to health. That is why part of our work consists of launching different projects that contribute to building a cleaner and more equal world.
As health ambassadors, we raise awareness of the importance of following good lifestyle habits. To achieve this, we launched our biannual magazine, ASSSA Magazine, which is freely available on our website and features up-to-date and useful health advice from renowned professionals. We also publish articles on our blog every two weeks focusing on the importance of prevention, nutrition and rest.
Knowing that sport is essential for a healthy lifestyle, we sponsor professional sports teams and get involved in their events. Examples include our sponsorship of the Padel Club de Campo Alicante team, Alicante Tenis Mesa, Alhama Signature Golf Academy, and most recently, the ASSSA Enric Valor Chess Club, among others.
We are also committed to the environment by implementing energy efficiency measures, reuse, recycling and responsible consumption of resources. We also participate in reforestation days and make donations to associations that protect the natural environment.
With the aim of promoting positive social change, we build relationships with educational centres such as the Lady Elisabeth School, and every year we make financial contributions to non-profit organisations that strive for equality among people.
We also participate in charity campaigns such as the “Cometas y Sonrisas” toy drive for vulnerable children, and are committed to job creation based on the values of integration and respect.
In short, at ASSSA we care about people’s well-being, understanding that CSR is not only an ethical duty, but also an investment in a better, healthier and kinder future.
