Acute and chronic respiratory conditions are a serious health problem and a leading cause of morbidity and mortality. In Western societies, respiratory diseases are among the main causes of death and one of the most frequent causes of hospital admissions.
Nowadays a lot of people know about gum disease or periodontitis, which is no surprise because it is the second most frequent cause of tooth loss after caries. Today’s society knows what to do if caries appear, but we may be less aware of what to do in cases of what was commonly known for many years as “pyorrhoea”.
Sexual activity is accompanied by vascular changes involving the autonomic (or involuntary) nervous system. Sexual arousal causes the release of a neurotransmitter, nitrous oxide (NO) from the vascular endothelium (the layer of cells lining the inside area of blood vessels, including the heart). The vascular endothelium is a nitrous oxide (NO) secretor. Endothelial dysfunction (loss of correct endothelial function) is a characteristic feature of vascular diseases.
Coeliac disease (CD) is an enteropathy, i.e. a condition that predominantly affects the intestine, which occurs in genetically susceptible individuals. It is an autoimmune process consisting of the abnormal activation of the body’s own defences in the mucosal lining of the small bowel triggered by gluten. In its most severe forms it causes intestinal atrophy, which results in disturbances in intestinal absorption of nutrients from food.
Ostheoporosis is the most common metabolic bone disease of western countries. It is far more frequent in women and the increase of its prevalence is influenced by the aging of the population as well as changes in lifestyles, increased sedentariness and decreased physical activity outdoors (less exposure to the sun).
The number of skin cancer cases detected has been increasing in the last few years. There are different types. A simple classification divides them into two groups: melanoma and non-melanoma.

REGLAMENTO PARA LA DEFENSA DEL ASEGURADO DE ASSSA
Este reglamento tiene por objeto regular el funcionamiento del Servicio de Atención al Cliente y del Defensor del Asegurado de ASSSA, así como las relaciones entre ambos. Se rige por la Ley 44/2002 de 22 de noviembre, de Medidas de Reforma del Sistema Financiero y por la Orden ECO 734/2004, de 11 de marzo, sobre los departamentos y servicios de atención al cliente de las entidades financieras.
