The human body is built using jointed levers and a muscular system for a reason. The body needs to move, to exercise, simply because of the way it is constructed. We need to tone our muscular system so it drives and coordinates our skeleton (bones and joints) and we can move ourselves around.
In general, we tend to associate the practice of any exercise with burning calories and shaping a figure as close as possible to the wonders of Photoshop, though the price to be paid is long hours at the gym. Most of us fail to reach the desired objectives because quality is much more important than quantity with regards to the type of sport and time we dedicate to it for sake of getting into shape.
Paddle is not an elitist sport. Nowadays, it is a very widespread sport involving men, women and children and it's popularity is increasing in leaps and bounds. You will not have any difficulty in finding Paddle courts in urbanisations, private clubs, municiple sports centres. . . etc. Given the high price of building land at the moment, even the size of the court has aided it's popularity, being smaller than required for many other sports.
The definition of physical exercise is “any activity which involves the body using energy “. People who do regular physical exercise live longer, have a lower risk of sudden death and coronary disease and, of course, they are able to work more and they feel better. Data gathered by the World Health Organisation shows that a sedentary lifestyle is the fourth most important risk factor for death on the planet.
